Uni Research conducts research on issues of relevance to patients by GPs, nursing and emergency care. Our projects provide clinically applicable knowledge when it comes to chronic diseases, infectious diseases, medical unexplained symptoms, health care to elderly, nursing home medicine and healthcare to marginalized groups.
Competence building, development of national guidelines, registries within municipal primary health care are key tasks. Collected data are used for assessments, planning and evaluation of the emergency service in Norway. We also use our data as a basis for public statistics and reports.
People with addictions often have a variety of other health problems as well. Some use the emergency room as their primary GP. Several projects examines what constitutes good professional help from health care to people with addictions and their families.
